Avery Nelson is the 5.2 student of the month voted on by her peers. In the voting they said Avery is Sweet and kind to others. Helps others out and when asked to do something she doesn't complain she does it and stays active.


SOM-Erna Oswald
Erna Oswald is the definition of a PROACTIVE student - each and every day! She is always prepared for class, is a hard worker, and is always THE best role model for students around her. When others are off task - she is not! We are so happy to have Erna in 2nd grade - she is a ROCKSTAR and does amazing things each day. Way to go, Erna!


SOM-Presley Hoke
Fellow homeroom peers chose her for being responsible, having a great attitude, demonstrating having great moods and choosing actions that are positive. Presley is a positive person that reflects her future as a caring teenager.


SOM - Ava Weaver
Ava is always participating in the class lessons and tries her best. She perseveres through problems by working with others and/or trying different strategies. In addition, she helps others solve problems when needed.

Junior High art students went to the Missouri State Fair Grounds today to draw or paint. They also participated in a group activity. After the awards, the students made up of 7th and 8th graders also visited the Daum Museum.

The time for the Bluebird Soccer game tonight has been changed . It will now start at 4:30 in Iberia.


The Junior High Lady Bluebird Volleyball girls got 2nd place today in the Camdenton Tournament. It's a Great Day to be a Bluebird!!! Good Job Ladies!!




Lots of things happening at tonight's Homecoming event. Thanks to all the fans and community who came out in support of the kids. Congratulations, Lilly Brown and Kyle Thomas on being crowned queen and king. Great performances by Encore, band, and cheerleaders. One last look at the senior float and last year's graduates had a chance to pick up their yearbooks and sign the new quote pages. What a night topped off with the glow dance!

The coronation of the 2024 Homecoming Court will take place before the football game starting at 6:30 P.M. so please plan on taking your seats early! The CCHS Blue Pride Marching Band and the Cole Camp Varsity Football Cheerleaders will be performing at halftime. Everyone is welcome to come join us for the fun and celebration as we continue our tradition of BLUE PRIDE!
This year’s candidates for Queen are Alexis Casdorph, Ashlyn Russell, and Lilly Brown. The candidates for King are Colton Thompson, Kyle Thomas, and Shane Wallace. Alexis Marie Casdorph is the 17-year-old daughter of Jeremiah and Kristina Casdorph. While in high school, Alexis has served as Football and Basketball Cheer Captain, FTA Secretary, Student Council Representative, and has been selected for All-American Cheer. She also participates in Show Choir and was chosen for All-District Treble Choir.
Colton Thompson is the 17-year-old son of Jeremy and Katie Ives and Ben and Stephanie Thompson. He has participated in Football and Basketball and is a member of Show Choir.
Ashlyn Grace Russell is the 17-year-old daughter of Thomas and Josi Russell. While at Cole Camp, she has participated in volleyball, cheerleading, show choir, FCA, Art Club, Scholar Bowl, and Math Team. She currently serves as NHS and FTA President, FCCLA Vice President of Fundraising, and Student Council Social Historian.
Kyle Thomas is the 17-year-old son of Rusty and Angie Thomas. He currently serves as FBLA President, Student Council Secretary, and Captain of the soccer team.
Lillian Faith Brown is the 17-year-old daughter of Bo and Jill Brown. While in high school, Lilly has participated in FCCLA as Secretary, NHS, FCA, FTA as Vice President and MSTA Ambassador, Student Council as President, Dance Captain of the Show Choir, Soccer, Track, Co-Captain of Football and Basketball Cheer Squads, and All-American Cheerleader
Shane is the 18-year-old son of Mike and Cherri Wallace. While in high school, Shane has participated in FBLA as Vice-President, FCCLA, Student Council all four years, Soccer, Encore, Mixed Choir, and Bluebird Media.
The 2024 Homecoming Queen and King will be crowned by the 2023 Queen and King Emily Burdick and Cody DeWitt. The 2024 Future Queen Ryleigh Balke and Future King Easton Oelrichs are the evening’s presenters of the flowers and crowns.
