Lady Bluebirds Volleyball: Lots of young talent on the Cole Camp volleyball teams. The JV team defeated Concordia 25 -16, 25-11 on September 11th. Then they traveled to Lone Jack and after losing the first set 22-25, came back and won 25-17, 25 -16. Their 3rd win came at home September 17th hosting Windsor. Kristin Carl served 5 to start and the lady birds were cruising. Two additional runs of 5 and two more strings of 4 and Cole Camp won 25-11. Taylor Loganbill served 6 early to get things going. Kodi Dieckman threw in an ace during her 6 serves and Cole Camp quickly won 25-10. Varsity faced some tough competiton against Concordia and Lone Jack. The scores against Concordia were 20-25, 13-25, 12-25. The girls showed some grit against Lone Jack even though it was a 16-25, 10-25, 20-25 loss. However hosting Windsor was a better outcome for the Lady Bluebirds. Olivia Pilant served 10 successfully in the opening set, while also setting up her teammates for finishes. Mandy Goosen with back-to-back kills and a block. Marilyn Hesse, who may not be the tallest girl on the floor, but jumps very well and seems to hang in the air and extra second resulting in several scores. Cole Camp 25-16. Andrea Dieckman with four serves early and seven more late in the next frame helped Cole Camp to take the second set 25-12. And the two starting freshmen on the Cole Camp varsity team put in nice work in the 3rd set. Leah Allison with 4 kills and Madilynn Ogle served up 8 in a row! Final set to Cole Camp 25-13 for the sweep.
Stats vs Windsor. Kills-Goosen 10, Hesse 9, Dieckman 6, Allison 5. Digs-Goosen 11, Ogle 9, Hesse 5, Allison 5, Pilant 5. Assists-Pilant 17, Ogle 17. Blocks-Goosen 3, Dieckman 2. Thank you to Arthur Keuper for writing this article for us. We appreciate it!!!
Homecoming spirit days have been a blast and we have had a lot of participation all week! Today, we are showing off spirit with Nerd Day.

I think the boys had a great experience! They visited with at least 30 employers & numerous colleges. It is a great experience for seniors whether entering the job market or continuing to post secondary education.

Seniors met with Jostens today to talk about graduation gear/announcements and Juniors about class rings. Order forms were sent home. If students need another copy or missed the meeting, they can come to the HS office. In person orders should be placed at either Jostens Family night, Thurs. 26th 3pm -6pm, or before school Friday the 27th from 7:30-8:15
I apologize, 10th grade was accidentally given the class ring orders also. THIS WAS A MISTAKE. Only Juniors order class rings.
Congratulations to the Cole Camp students who participated in the West Central Choir Audition on Saturday, September 14th. These students worked really to hard to prepare a solo, identify key signatures, and sight read for this audition. These students were selected to sing in the All- District Choir which will take place in October. They will now audition for All- State Choir in October as well. It's a great day to be a Bluebird!

Immediately following the football game on Friday is the HOCO Glow Dance! This is for 9-12 CCHS students only.
