Renaissance and Reformation showdown, anyone? Let the brainy games begin! Today, we dived into a whirl of fun while prepping for the big test. Our clever scholars battled it out in epic rounds of Pictionary and Jeopardy!
Wrestling Camp for Elementary Students
Students in Workplace Communications and Blue Media classes, toured Learfield Communications in Jefferson City, MO on 11-14. Learfield is a leading media and technology company in college athletics providing advanced media and technology in sports and entertainment, building brands and captivating fans in college athletics. Students were exposed to careers in accounting, news/ag broadcast networks, college sports networks and broadcast engineering to broaden their knowledge in the career field.
The Cole Camp R-1 School District is seeking a Physical Education/Health Teacher for grades 7-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. Coaching opportunities are available.
Qualifications & Expectations:
- Valid Missouri PE/Health certification
- Ability to plan and teach engaging, standards-based lessons
- Maintain a positive and effective learning environment
- Work collaboratively with staff and use data to support student learning
- Build strong relationships with students
- Head coaching experience is preferred but not required.

This week in Mrs. McLaughlin's Forensics classes, students studied the different types of hair that can be found at crime scenes. They were able to determine the macroscopic and microscopic differences between animal hair and human hairs. Students were able to look at their own hair under the microscope, look at different types of animal hair, learned how to calculate medullary index, and so much more.🔬
A quick Friday night update on the Cole Camp R-1 phase 2 building project. Masonry is complete, steel has been set, decking has been placed and studs welded to the hardened area. The concrete cap was poured today. It is a great day to be a Bluebird!
