The Speech team went to SFCC to compete in the conference tournament. Overall, the team placed third. Individual awards were as follows:

We had so many "newbies" who put themselves out there to try something new. I'm proud of ALL of you! -Ms. Burton

The Chemistry class participated in the classic "flame test" to see how each element gives of a signature color when burned!





The annual Snow Dance will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 7-10 PM in the JH gym! This event is for CCHS students, grades 9-12. In order to bring an out of school date, please pick up a form in the HS office. Completed forms are due on Tuesday, Dec. 5. The cost is $8/person or $12/couple. This is a semi-formal event. We hope to see you there!

Ms. Callahan's high school Anatomy & Physiology class has begun their unit on the circulatory system. They just finished learning about blood & blood vessels. They then applied their knowledge going around the school to take staff members' blood pressures & measure their pulses. Thank you to our staff members for being such good sports!

National Honor Society is hosting our first blood drive of the year! Both blood drives this year will be through Community Blood Bank out of Kansas City.
Please help us save lives!

17 members of Cole Camp Future Teachers of America attended the state meeting complete with an education-based college fair.
Four members, Gracie Thompson, Alexis Casdorph, Ashlyn Russell, and Grace Harms signed letters of intent to be future educators.
Additionally, Ashlyn Russell and Lilly Brown ran for State FTA Ambassador positions. A big congratulations to Lilly Brown who was elected to one of the positions.
We are looking forward to big things as we watch our future teachers grow.
