The Lincoln Archery Tournament scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled.
No school on Friday Bluebirds. AMI day 2.
Another change to tonight's Stover Tournament: Boys will now be in the dome at 6 and Girls will be in old gym at 6.
Stover Tournament change: Girls now play at 6:00 and Boys will play at 7:30 both in the old gym at Stover.
The Stover Tournament will start tonight. (Hopefully) This is the new updated brackets for the games.
While the past two days have been traditional snow days tomorrow will be different. It will be our AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) day #1. This means if students participate, they will be counted in attendance and we will not need to make up this snow day. If students do not participate, they will be counted absent and the attendance policy will apply. This is evaluated for each class.
JH students should have packets to complete. They only need to finish Day #1 and bring it back to school. HS students should check their google classrooms and their school email to receive instructions for each class. They should have an AMI assignment from each class.

Before the storm settled in on Saturday, 6 wrestlers went to Smith Cotton High School for their JV tournament. 5 Bluebirds brought home medals! Keagon Schatz and Logan Harrison brought home gold medals in their first ever wrestling event. Carson Webb and Dahved Stuerke both took the silver and Jayden Begshaw a bronze. RJ Hampton just missed a medal finishing 4th. Great learning day for our young athletes!

The FFA district Greenland Motivational Conference in Jefferson City on Monday morning has been canceled due to impending weather.
Cole Camp Bluebird Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball teams will participate in the Stover Tournament January 6-11, 2025. See brackets and information sheet attached.
Cole Camp Girls and Boys Basketball: The 23rd version of the W-K Holiday Basketball Shootout continued December 21st at State Fair Community College.
The 2-5 Cole Camp girls met the 4-4 Saint Paul's girls at 10:30 a.m. and the lady Saints had a 7-0 lead by mid 1st qtr. They continued to lead by a 9-3 score after 1 period.
Better results in the 2nd qtr for the Lady Bluebirds. MacKenzie Moellman, Emma Thayer and Madilynn Ogle each with 3 to narrow the margin to 16-19 favoring St Paul's at halftime.
St Paul's outscored Cole Camp 13-4 in the 3rd qtr. The Saints forced some turnovers and out rebounded the Bluebirds and therefore led 32-20 with 8 minutes to go.
Katherine Timoshchuk with 3 in the last qtr. Kaitlyn Whitworth and Marilyn Hesse 2 each. Though the game outcome was pretty well decided, nice defensive effort by Leah Allison. If there was a loose ball on the floor, she was still trying to gain a possession. Final score was St Paul's 41, Cole Camp 29.
Scoring: Timoshchuk 7, Thayer 5, Moellman 5, Ogle 5, Hesse 3, Whitworth 2, Allison 2. Chloe Fahrmeier led St. Paul's with 13, Bella Woods with 11.
Varsity Boys followed and the Saints seem to score 5 at a time. They led 5-0, then 10-1 and so a quick deficit for the Bluebirds. Bovey Clark and Blake Abey with 3 each to pace Cole Camp. Tate Kreisel, a junior guard scored 10 for the Saints who led 17-9 after 1.
Not a lot of point production for Cole Camp in the 2nd, but several nice defensive stands. Kolby Bohon and Abey took a beating but drew charging fouls on the Saints players. Kreisel another 8 for the Saints, who now led 28-14 at halftime.
The lead grew to 20 in the 3rd. Cole Camp was putting in the work but not a lot of points to show for it. Saint Paul's with a 38-22 cushion after 3.
Good effort by sophomore Kolton Phillips in the last qtr. He made a 2-point field goal, 2 freethrows, and a traditional 3-point play. Connor Petersen also 2 for 2 freethrows. Game ended with St Paul's having 48, Cole Camp 33.
