To recognize National Poetry Month, Mrs. Lutjen's 5th and 6th grade students have been learning about more modern styles of poetry. The 5th graders learned and created Two-Voice Poetry with a partner. This allowed them to compare and contrast things about themselves to those of their peers. There were a lot of great Two-Voice Poems and we have attached 2 example videos below:
The 6th grade learned about Blackout Poetry. This was so neat to see the kids get into, and really test their creativity. Mrs. Lutjen was blown away by the amazing work they provided! There were SO MANY good ones!
